About Little Mermaid Ariel
Ariel arrives from under the sea and into your celebration — the red hair, the shell top, the shimmering tail, in a detailed, photo-ready costume kids recognise across a crowded room. From the very first hello, every child is pulled in for hugs, high-fives and that one perfect picture.
She brings a whole world with her, and she stays in it. Forks are strange. Human things are fascinating. She’ll ask a child to explain what a phone is and listen to the answer with complete seriousness, and they will explain it, at length, delighted to be the expert for once.
The visit is fully interactive: Ariel leads sea-themed games, treasure hunts for lost human objects, singing and dances tuned to your guests’ ages. There’s real teaching folded into the fun — ocean creatures, what lives where, why the sea matters — delivered by someone who obviously lives there, which children accept without question.
Every child gets a moment, and the birthday girl gets the big one — named an honorary mermaid, given a treasure from the collection and let in on a secret from under the sea. It’s brief and it’s the bit they retell for weeks.
Perfect for mermaid and under-the-sea birthdays, pool parties and special events across Chicago. She works beautifully solo, and pairs naturally with the other princesses — many families book two and let them run the afternoon between them.
