About Floral Bouquet Workshop
A botanical workshop with real flowers. Each kid receives a stem variety pack, a vase or kraft flower box, ribbon and decorative elements — and learns simple arrangement techniques from our florist.
The flowers arrive fresh that morning, chosen by season rather than by what’s cheapest — ranunculus and tulips in spring, dahlias and cosmos through late summer, eucalyptus and berries when it turns cold. Kids get to handle the real thing: stems that snap, petals that bruise, greenery that smells like a garden. It’s a different kind of attention than a craft kit asks for.
We use kid-safe rounded scissors and walk through everything: choosing focal flowers, layering greenery, balancing colors, finishing with ribbon. Our florist teaches the rules the way florists actually think about them — one flower leads, the rest support, and odd numbers look better than even. Kids pick this up faster than most adults do.
Then they build. Some follow the technique exactly and produce something genuinely lovely. Others go rogue, cram every color in and end up with something joyful and slightly chaotic. Both get wrapped, tied and treated with the same care.
Calm, beautiful, fragrant. Each kid leaves with a finished arrangement to gift or keep — a sweet alternative to typical party favors. Most hand it straight to a parent on the way out, which is a moment worth booking the workshop for on its own.
