About Cheshire Cat
The grinning cat from Wonderland arrives at your celebration — striped, impossibly wide-smiled and entirely too pleased with himself. From the very first hello, every child is pulled in for hugs, high-fives and that one perfect picture.
He’s the strangest character we send out, and that’s precisely why he lands. Everything he says is slightly sideways. Every question gets answered with a better question. Kids spend the first five minutes trying to work out whether he’s making sense and the next fifty-five delighted that he isn’t. Older children in particular love that a grown-up is finally being properly silly at them.
The visit is fully interactive: he runs riddle games, mad-hatter tea parties, backwards contests and disappearing tricks — well, almost disappearing. Kids chase him around corners convinced he’s vanished. He gives directions that lead nowhere useful. There’s a logic to it that children pick up instantly and adults never quite do.
The birthday child gets pulled into the nonsense properly — appointed the only sensible person in Wonderland, handed an impossible job and congratulated on it. It’s absurd and it’s exactly the kind of absurd that a seven-year-old remembers.
Perfect for Alice in Wonderland birthdays, tea parties, Halloween and any celebration that wants something odder than the usual lineup. He works beautifully solo, and pairs well with the other universal characters if you want a bigger cast of nonsense across the afternoon.
