About Buba
A giant fluffy yeti steps out of the snowy mountains and into your party — towering, soft, gentle and instantly the most-photographed guest at the event. Not the scary kind: this yeti hugs, dances and plays.
The costume is the entire pitch. Nobody’s child has met a yeti before. There’s no film to compare it to, no doll on the shelf, no version they already know — just an enormous, impossibly fluffy creature standing in the doorway. The pause before the first kid moves is a good three seconds long, and then it’s a stampede.
He doesn’t speak — he doesn’t need to. Everything happens through gestures, slow dancing and hugs, which turns out to be perfect for the youngest guests and for sensory-sensitive kids who find loud characters overwhelming. He kneels down to their height and waits, and they come to him.
The program includes snowball games with soft, indoor-safe snowballs, a ‘follow-the-yeti’ dance trail through the house and plenty of photo moments. Kids ambush him, bury him, ride on his back and generally treat him like the world’s largest teddy bear. He’s game for all of it.
Perfect when you want a truly unique winter character that nobody else’s birthday party has had. He works beautifully solo for a 30-minute hugs-and-photos moment, or alongside Santa and Olaf for a fuller winter lineup — and he pairs especially well with the little ones who need a warm-up before a louder character arrives.
