About New Year Labubu
Labubu arrives in full festive style — the ears, the grin and the whole mischievous fairy-tale creature, now in a Santa coat and hat. In a detailed, photo-ready costume kids recognise instantly, and from the very first hello, every child is pulled in for hugs, high-fives and that one perfect picture.
She’s the character kids ask for before their parents have heard of her. Labubu arrived from the internet rather than from a film, and the children who love her love her with a specific intensity — they’ve collected her, traded her, hung her off a school bag. Meeting her full-size, in a Santa hat, in December, is a lot for a seven-year-old to process.
The visit is fully interactive: she leads holiday games, dances and contests tuned to your guests’ ages, with a streak of mischief running through all of it. She hides things. She gets into the presents. She’s caught doing something she absolutely shouldn’t be and is entirely unrepentant about it — which children find funnier than anything else in the program.
There’s a special moment with the birthday child, or with the whole room if it’s a holiday party. The mischief drops for thirty seconds and something genuinely sweet happens instead.
