About Pikachu
Pikachu bounds into your celebration — yellow, round-cheeked, lightning-tailed and unmistakable, in a detailed, photo-ready costume kids recognise from the other side of the room. From the very first hello, every child is pulled in for hugs, high-fives and that one perfect picture.
He’s been the most famous Pokémon for thirty years, which means he clears every age in the room at once. The five-year-olds know him from the cartoon. The ten-year-olds know him from the games. The parents know him from their own childhood, and more than a few of them get quietly emotional about it. Very few characters manage that.
The visit is fully interactive: he leads Pokémon battles, catching games, dances and contests tuned to your guests’ ages. Kids throw balls at him and he lets himself be caught, with appropriate theatrics. They challenge him. They train him. They shout “Pika!” at each other for the rest of the afternoon, and there’s nothing anyone can do about that.
There’s a special moment with the birthday child — chosen as his trainer, given the honour, and handed a thirty-second scene that ends up being the photo on the fridge.
Perfect for Pokémon birthdays, gaming parties and special events across Chicago. He works beautifully solo, and pairs well with the other boys’ characters — though honestly, he doesn’t need help. He’s Pikachu.
