The visit is fully interactive: SpongeBob leads jellyfishing games, Krusty Krab challenges, dances and contests tuned to your guests’ ages. There’s a lot of shouting, a lot of very silly physical comedy and a general absence of dignity, which is precisely what the character requires.
The birthday child gets the moment — employee of the month, an award ceremony, a thirty-second scene played entirely straight, which makes it funnier.
