About Sonic
Sonic blurs into your celebration — blue, spiky, red-shoed and grinning, in a detailed, photo-ready costume kids recognise before he’s fully through the door. From the very first hello, every child is pulled in for hugs, high-fives and that one perfect picture.
Speed is the whole character, and children test it immediately. They race him. He wins, obviously, but only just, and always with enough theatrics that the kid feels like they nearly had him. Then he lets a smaller one win outright and acts devastated about it, which is the funniest thing that’s happened to that child all month.
The visit is fully interactive: Sonic runs races, ring collections, speed challenges, dances and contests tuned to your guests’ ages. Kids hunt rings hidden around the house. They train. They form teams. There’s a lot of running and the party is quieter afterwards for it.
The birthday child gets the moment — a race won, a ring handed over, a thirty-second scene with the whole room cheering.
Perfect for Sonic birthdays, gaming parties and special events across Chicago. He works beautifully solo, or alongside the other boys’ characters for a bigger cast.
